On this visit to Bayside we get to know more about Dean Masters and Emery Andrews. These two met and there was instant chemistry. They started talking all the time and sharing everything, Emery has decided to make a life change and make a move to start over and it so happens that Dean is all for that and helps her make that decision. Emery is fine with their friendship as is, however Dean is ready to move past their friendship into something more. When Dean and Emery start spending more time together, it’s obvious they are meant to be but Emery doesn’t want to mess up their friendship but they decide to take a chance on something more. It was great that Dean was there whenever Emery was doubting things or having a hard time with something or having doubts about them, he is definitely an amazing guy. It was nice to check back in with our friends but meet new friends along the way. Rose and her friends - the Dirty Grandma Club, Tango and Cash, and then there is the lack of a relationship between Dean and his father. It was interesting as I was reading this to put everyone and the familial connections together. I’m glad that Dean and Emery got their HEA, they both more than deserved it, Emery was able to help Rose get back on her feet, and in the end Dean’s relationship with his father is being restored. Another great book from Melissa Foster.

Emery and Dean are such a beautifully thought out couple. Their deep friendship, passion, smoking chemistry and love will fill you with lots of tingly feels.

I couldn’t help but add Dean to my BBF list. He’ll make your panties melt and heart swoon.

Emery is an extraordinary beautiful chaotic soul with so much love and sweetness you’ll want her as a BFF. As a Yogi myself, I really connected with the heroine.

I loved everything about this story from start to finish. I’m so happy she brought some of our beloved Seaside Gang into this book.

When an author effortlessly pulls you into a world they create that has you gasping, signing, crying and laughing, and making you feel a part of said world you can’t help but fall in love them. Melissa Foster is my go to authoress who I simply adore.

Add Bayside Passion to your bookshelf! I can’t recommend it enough.
It was great going back to Bayside again and seeing everyone. This book revolves around Emery, the best friend of Desiree (the heroine of the first book) and Dean, a close friend of Rick's (the hero of the first book). I'm a huge fan of the friends to lovers trope, especially ones where the characters have been friends for a while. In this particular book, that isn't the case. Dean and Emery have only known each other for about six months, but they have just as much closeness as two people who were childhood best friends.

That's what makes their transition to lovers so difficult, which results in things like Dean trying not to roll his eyes whenever Emery has a date or Emery trying not to be attracted to Dean because she doesn't want to mess up their friendship. Of course, you can pretty much guess what happens after that.

The characters from the first Bayside book as well as a few from the Seaside series make appearances, but like always, you don't need to read the previous books to understand this one. Can't wait to see what the next book has in store.
Have you ever met someone & just clicked? You felt like you had known the other person your entire life? Everything was so easy that you just knew something was going to go wrong? This is the feeling that Bayside Passions brought to my mind. Emery & Dean met & just fell into friendship & a relationship. That's sounds so easy & it really wasn't but you get the idea. They met at a wedding & clicked. Then they carried on a long distance friendship for months. Late night phone calls & texting sessions enabled them to get to know each other without anything else getting in the way. Now that Emery has moved to the Cape, can they move beyond friendship or will something happen to derail the relationship?

This was truly a "happy" book. Emery's character is open, friendly & bubbly - exactly the way you'd expect a yoga instructor to be. Dean is built. Strange thing for me to fixate on but what can I say. He's also patient, sensitive & sexy. What I really loved was the way the author showed that they truly were better people together. He helped her to calm down & be a little less chaotic. He also pushed her to the career he knew she loved but was afraid to pursue. She helped him to smile! She also helped him to be less serious & introspective. This was another great story to add to the Bayside group but can easily be a stand alone.
