I have read the entire series. I find this book again starting slow, it really drags in some places in the begining and rushes in the end. I found myself skimming through some of the sex scenes just to get on with the story. It seemed to start and stop and not flow well. The relationships grows, engagement etc... They seem to accept they will always argue. I love Slade, still not to keen on Samatha, I like Tate, but am VERY DISAPPOINTED with the way Tate and Missy hook up. I will read the next series, About 1/2 through the book action starts to take place. But again the end is rushed, covering 2 weeks at a time, then 3 months pass.. I think I would of liked less drama and fighting and more progression in the relationship.
Once again this author has done such a good job with this 3rd book. All 3 are sooo good! The only thing that irks is that the 2 main characters are so immature. Slade's temper is always out of control & Angel's responses are that See it,of a 16 year old not a women of 24. But this is true of all 3 of these books. I would have liked to have seen a little more growth I the maturing of both. Loved that their friends are as well rounded characters, too. Still overall this was very enjoyable reading & I plan on reading the next 2 books.
OMG So I thought at first this wasn’t going to be that good... The first chapter starts out with a “bang”... I mean really… they make it in the bathroom of an airplane, so I am thinking this is just going to be a book full of sex... and no storyline.
Well I was soooo wrong… but sort of right. The book has sex in it… a lot of it… it is entwined with a great story.
I want to first say… out of the 3 books in this series; this one is by far the best. I love to watch a author “grow” throughout their series… and Shantel has done that 100%.
I loved to follow the story of Slade and Sam, “Angel” and see how it comes to a conclusion.
The relationship between the two of them is so great… not the most “romantic” but much more “real” than you would expect. I love how Sam has gone from a “broken” woman to a “strong” woman and Slade goes from a “manwhore” to someone who wants to settle down and worship Sam.
I am sad to see this come to an end but it was well written and I cannot wait to see what happens in the next book with the next characters.

I don't know where to start this review, I have sat down many times over the last few weeks and started and stopped and deleted and well I am back to try again, except this time I can't delete because this is my day for the Blog Tour. So what ever comes to mind, is what is going down!

Shantel has kept me on the edge of my seat with this whole series and she has ended it just the way it needed to be ended. I remember messaging her and calling her an Emotional Genius and well, I couldn't imagine any other completion for Samantha and Slade, other then what we read. Am I greedy and want more? Yes, but who isn't that has read this series? We have seen this couple and this group of friends grow and mold and become amazing with in themselves. Talk about character development. She Developed them and MORE. You actually feel so bonded with everyone, that when you go out to your local bar, I bet you are looking around for your own Sam and Slade to drink with.

Shantel gave us all more of what we needed and she is giving us more of our favorite people. I want to be her personal cheerleader as she writes more books for us to share, and make sure she has a never ending supply of Barefoot. That way she can whip these books out, because I swear, the characters are like a drug that I just cant seem to get enough of.
The conclusion of Sam and Slade's story couldn't have been any better! I loved how their story ended and how everything played out with these two.

There were secrets kept, and when they were found out, they made things messy between these two. Sam's life is in danger more times than you can count in this book and each and every time you are holding your breath hoping that everything will work out and she'll be fine.

I loved watching Slade grow more in this book, he started to realize what really was important in life and I loved seeing this side of him. His alpha male, possessiveness over Sam is definitely more apparent in this book then in any of the others, and at times I loved it and at other times I thought it was a little too much.

Seeing how much these characters grew from book one to the final book was awesome, I can't wait to read Tate's story and see what he's been hiding, and see what's going on with Missy. I love each and everyone of these characters and this series is definitely one that needs to be on everyone's TBR list. Sam and Slade have a hot, relationship that oozes chemistry and love, and their friends are some that people would kill for to have in their lives. I even started to like Parker towards the end of this book, and when he was first introduced into the story I wasn't a huge fan.

I'm definitely a fan of Shantel Tessier now and can't wait to read more books from her!
Slade and Samantha are getting married but will the secrets two people close to her between the happy ending she wants. Sam is back to being extra and running scared but she did grow a little bit in this book. Slade is trying his best to figure out who is trying to destroy his happiness but he is a fighter. We all know there is some secrets and two people close to her are hiding a big one. Can she forgive the ones trying to hurt get and the ones lying to her? Who knows you just have to read it to Sam and Slade get the happiness they been wishing for.
